LIPA and Mountview offer

Huge congratulations to Alex as he has received the amazing news that he has been offered places to study Musical Theatre from both LIPA and Mountview!

Alex started training online with us at age 12 with the goal of wanting to improve his dancing for his Musical Theatre. We couldn't be prouder of him when just over five years later, he is offered training at these prestigious schools studying what he absolutely loves.
The audition season is still ongoing for Alex and we wish him all the best for his upcoming recall auditions.

Ballet for Sports March competition results

It has been a wonderful start to the year for our @balletforsports program athletes! The 2026 competition season is just getting started now for many of the sports we work with, and already such great results are coming in!

Thank you to everyone who shared their results and photos with us from February. We love celebrating your achievements and supporting you all with your live online Ballet for Sports training.

The Hammond offer

Huge congratulations to Melody from Nigeria, who has been offered a full-time Year 9 place at The Hammond!

This is a very special moment as just over a year ago, Melody was selected by our school as one of two ballet scholarship students from Nigeria. We spotted her potential for a career in dance and provided supplementary classes to broaden access to ballet training as part of our partnership with Above Ballet Company Melody was also one of the first children in Nigeria to take an Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing ballet examination last year – which she received a Distinction for.

Former pupil news

We are so proud of former student, Denis, who has just been announced as featuring in the Dance for Ukraine fundraiser!

Denis is in his graduate year at the Royal Ballet School and will feature alongside the stars of the Royal Ballet company, welcomed by Dame Darcey Bussell and Ivan Putrov.

Silver Swans & adult ballet dancers social event

A huge thank you to Jane Gage from the Royal Ballet and Opera, for a wonderful talk last night with Q&A. Hearing all about the work of a wigs artist, hair stylist and make up artist and the level of detail that goes into these elements was absolutely fascinating.

Thank you to everyone from our adult ballet and Silver Swans classes who joined us for this special treat – we hope you enjoyed it!

Royal Ballet School UK Scholars

Huge congratulations to Phoebe who, following her Royal Ballet School Mid Associate audition, has been invited through to the final selection audition for the Royal Ballet School's new UK Scholars programme!

Phoebe trains online with us multiple times a week. What an amazing achievement – and whatever the outcome, we are so proud of you!

Christmas charity fundraiser 2025

WOW! Announcing our final total of an incredible £904 raised in our Christmas Sparkle Week this year! This is the largest total we have ever raised in a fundraiser so a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated so generously.

This year, our chosen charity was SHAK The Sanctuary (Safe Homes and Kindness) – a charity and sanctuary for abused, mistreated and neglected dogs. We hope that all the dogs at SHAK have a wonderful Christmas

Thank you to our student, Grace, for announcing our total in her beautiful sparkly tutu that she wore for online ballet classes on Christmas Sparkle Week!

ISTD Ballet examinations – Nigeria

History is made! Sending huge congratulations to Melody and Sochima who have both successfully achieved a Distinction for their Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing ballet examination!

However, not only is this an amazing achievement in itself, but part of a historic moment, as they were part of the first group of children to ever take an ISTD ballet examination in Nigeria.

Melody and Sochima train with us twice a week for non-syllabus ballet as part of our partnership with Above Ballet Company.

UK Coaching Award – Online Coach of the Year Finalist

We thrilled to share the exciting news that Johanna is a finalist for Online Coach of the Year, by the UK Coaching Awards!

From hundreds of nominations, the judges have selected Johanna as one of only three finalists for Online Coach of the Year. This is in acknowledgement of her ballet training across all sectors in online formats, breaking geographical boundaries through accessibility to quality ballet training – from children's ballet training to Silver Swans, and her Ballet for Sports program, working with athletes from across ice skating, artistic roller skating, artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics.

The UK Coaching Awards are regarded as one of the most prestigious events within the coaching community and celebrates coaches at all levels. From elite to grassroots, the awards were established to recognise the invaluable role coaches play in building a happier and healthier society – whether masterminding a gold medal moment that can inspire a nation, or turning up week in, week out to support participants at a community sports club.
