Why not join our weekly online adult ballet classes? |
After doing a lot of research into adult ballet lessons I found the Janet Lomas School Of Dancing. This seemed like a perfect fit as it offered a four-week beginner ballet course and weekly ballet lessons. The beginner ballet course was an excellent introduction to ballet technique with a great amount of description and demonstration and the adult ballet lessons cater for varying abilities. The classes are a great opportunity to dance alongside people around the world, which is an experience that cannot be missed. |

What will I need for online adult ballet classes?
Before joining any session, please check that you have lots of space and that it is clear of any obstacles. Please also check that your flooring is suitable. Classes are hosted using Zoom – upon enrolling for our online classes, we email over instructions to help you get set up, and can talk you through if you have any difficulties. What should I wear for classes? Participants can wear anything they can easily move around in (no denim) for classes. You are not forced to wear a leotard if you don't want to! However, there are many beautiful styles of leotards and skirts that are available if you wish to really get more of a ballet feel for your classes. Flat ballet shoes are recommended (whole sole or split sole, leather or canvas are best). No pointe or soft pointe shoes. If you are unsure, please feel free to email us. Hair must be securely tied back and no jewellery. |
