Silver Swans photoshoot

Today, four of our our online Silver Swans had the opportunity to meet up for a ballet photoshoot! The photoshoot was for third year graphic design student, Maddie, for her current university project.

Our Silver Swans all enjoyed a fabulous time loving all the glamour of being a ballet model for the day!

Thank you to Maddie for asking us to be part of this and we wish her lots of luck for her degree!

Royal Ballet School Associate Insight Day

Freya enjoyed a wonderful day at the Royal Ballet School Junior Associate insight day in Edinburgh at the weekend. It is wonderful supporting aspiring young dancers from all across the country (and world!) in their ballet training.

Freya only started with us a few months ago and her progress has been fantastic. Keep it up, Freya!

Double audition success!

We are thrilled to announce a DOUBLE success for one of our students from China – reaching the final round auditions for both the Royal Ballet School and Elmhurst Ballet School!

Both schools accept only twelve girls in Year 7 every year and auditions start with hundreds of students applying from across the UK and internationally. Successfully passing the preliminary audition, she then reached the final 70 for semi finals and has now just received the wonderful news that she has reached the third and final audition round. She will now attend a two-day final round audition at both schools for these final twelve places.

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT for an EXCLUSIVE event
for our adult dancers and Silver Swans!

Explore the world of ballet mime with Birmingham Royal Ballet's Character Artist, Yvette Knight!

We are delighted to welcome back Yvette for an exclusive workshop, arranged specially for our adult dancers and Silver Swans. In the workshop, Yvette will be explaining the use of mime in classical ballet and you'll have the opportunity to learn a mime extract directly from Yvette – with a special focus on this term's ballet, Swan Lake!

The event is free to attend for all our adult dancers and Silver Swans.
