Charity Donation

We recently raised £218.63 for Greenmount Wild Bird Hospital. The funds were raised from uniform sales in the children's school, and a large raffle at the Silver Swans® summer party.

We were thrilled to be able to purchase a large heated hospital cage for GWBH, and provide a small donation.

The hospital does such great work helping sick and injured birds, and often struggles for funds and equipment, so we were delighted to be able to help once again.

ISTD Imperial Ballet Exam Results - Summer 2018

Congratulations to students who took ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet exams this summer – a fantastic set of exam results.

100% Distinctions were achieved – the highest mark of the session was 97/100.

Guest student from Dubai

This summer we have welcomed a guest student from Dubai into our classes.

She came to join in our ballet classes while visiting family in the UK over the summer break.

She has been an absolute joy to have in the classes and a pleasure to teach. We wish her a safe journey back to Dubai, and look forward to seeing her on her next trip to the UK.

Past student pops in!

It was lovely this evening to be visited by a past student who was on her summer break from ballet school. She came along and joined in classes with some of her old friends – so it was lovely that they could all have a catch up!

She currently trains on the classical ballet course at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in Tring, Hertfordshire.

We wish her well as she returns for her second year in September in Year 8.

Moorland International Ballet Academy Summer School

One of our students has just had a very enjoyable week at the Moorland International Ballet Academy Summer School.

The Summer School was held at Moorland International Ballet Academy at Moorland School in Clitheroe where students took classes primarily in ballet, but also incorporated styles such as contemporary and character dance.

It was an intense week of lessons, culminating in a performance on the Saturday for parents.
