Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Wishing all our pupils and their families a  Merry Christmas, with our very best wishes for the New Year. We look back on 2016 and congratulate the students on their fantastic achievements throughout the year:

• A student has been offered a place for 2017 entry at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, Hertfordshire, and is also through to the final round for Elmhurst School for Ballet, Birmingham (final round auditions are in 2017). Two students have been offered places for 2017 entry at Moorland International Ballet Academy, Clitheroe – this means that every full-time ballet school audition our students have attended, they have been successful in.
• Two students were offered places to continue for another year as Elmhurst School for Ballet Junior Associates, and a male student was accepted new on to the Elmhurst Junior Associate course this year. (Plus, earlier this year, the Elmhurst Junior Associates had a very inspiring visit from Darcey Bussell.)
• Finalists at the national ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet Junior Awards, held in Milton Keynes, with students achieving 3rd place, and the Musicality Cup, out of 59 entrants.
• 100% Distinctions for all NATD Tap and Theatrical examinations (highest mark 90/100, achieved by eight students)
• 100% Distinctions for all ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern examinations (highest mark 95/100 achieved twice by the same pupil)
• Offered a place as a Junior Associate for Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre, studying Jazz and Musical Theatre.
• Professional photo shoots for dancewear companies such as Roch Valley Dancewear.
• Our students' photos were chosen to appear in the 110th Anniversary edition of the ISTD official magazine (sent to 7000 members across 65 countries) 
• Attended an international residential ballet summer course and many students attended workshops by English National Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet.
