Two of our past students, Emily and Denis, at today's socially-distanced photoshoot for Dancewear Central.
Denis is currently studying full-time at the Royal Ballet School, London, and his sister Emily is studying full-time at The Hammond School, Chester. â Well done â you worked very hard today!
Since starting ballet with us only two years ago, Eliana has progressed from a complete beginner to Grade 3 ballet (something that would normally take 5 years). This year, she has successfully been awarded places as a Junior Associate of both Elmhurst Ballet School and now the Royal Ballet School, too.
Eliana will continue her training with us, but will now also receive specialist weekly tuition from both the Royal Ballet School and Elmhurst Ballet School tutors. On Monday 26th October, we have a NEW Silver Swans® online ballet class starting on Mondays at 2.00-3.00pm BST. The class is suitable for beginners and open to all in both the UK and abroad. On Sunday 4th October, we hosted a free online Silver Swans® ballet class for the over 55s as part of the annual Silver Sunday celebrations. The participants began by learning the basics of ballet, including barre and centre work, before learning repertoire from Don Quixote. After the class, everyone enjoyed a lovely chat on Zoom. We were thrilled to be joined by participants from all across the UK, Europe and Canada. Silver Sunday is an initiative of the Sir Simon Milton Foundation. It is a celebration of older people and their contribution to society, held annually on the first Sunday in October.
