 Four of our Junior students enjoyed a fantastic morning with Birmingham Royal Ballet at The Lowry Theatre, Salford. The morning started with a ballet class, and they then learnt an extract from Romeo and Juliet. Parents and families were then invited to watch a performance by the girls of the extract, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed! The teacher was Andrea Tredinnick (ex-Royal Ballet School and ex-Birmingham Royal Ballet for twenty four years, eighteen of which as a first soloist), and the class was held in the beautiful Compass Room at The Lowry.
 Johanna participated in a seven-hour photoshoot at Manchester Airport, celebrating the sponsorship of Dance at The Lowry from Manchester Airport Group.
Although, in this article from the Bury Times, it states that Johanna has some exams left to take, in fact she has completed every Royal Academy of Dance examination possible - up to, and including, Advanced Two, and all of which with Distinctions. Upon gaining her Advanced Two Ballet, Johanna has been awarded Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD) Click here for some more pictures from the photoshoot. |
