Silver Swans® Coffee Morning

What a lovely morning we had in our Silver Swans® coffee morning on Thursday 25th March!

Congratulations to Lorelle who competed in the semi finals of the online UK DANCE CLASS Championships in 6-8 years Ballet this morning. Competing against dancers from across the UK and abroad (as far away as Japan), Lorelle danced so beautifully, she was then selected for the finals!

Lorelle performed the solo again in the finals which had been narrowed down from a selection of 77 dancers – and then went on to achieve 6th place!

Well done Lorelle!

We are delighted to announce that a group of our Silver Swans® are to be featured on ITV's Tonight programme this Thursday (11th March) at 7:30pm.

The programme, How To Age Well?, is presented by actor and musician, Martin Kemp. The segment that focuses on our online Silver Swans® ballet classes for the over 55s was filmed remotely during lockdown.

Thank you so much to Birmingham Royal Ballet Principal Dancer, Brandon Lawrence, for an incredible online Q&A event with our Silver Swans® on Sunday 28th February.

Hearing how Brandon started ballet as a young boy, his training and career, behind-the-scenes stories and the beautiful photos – it was an amazing insight into the life of a Principal dancer.

I'm sure the event will be a memory we will all cherish for a long time!
